Abstract

Abstract Nahwu and Shorof learning is the most important material and at the same time the first gate that must be passed by the students in understanding Arabic and yellow books that read bare Arabic, in order to achieve success the teacher is required to have understanding, mastery of learning methods, and managerial management of Nahwu-learning programs Shorof is studied intensively. The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the implementation of the method used by Ibn Abbas Sragen boarding school in Nahwu-Sharaf learning to improve the reading ability of the yellow book. To conduct the research the author tried to examine and examine how the application of Nahwu-Shorof learning to improve the quality of reading the yellow book in Ibn Abbas boarding schools and what methods were used in the pesantren. The formulation of the problems that emerged in the study included what methods were used in the Ibn Abbas Sragen boarding school and what the implications were in Nahwu-Shorof's learning. This research is a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection methods used are interviews, documentation, and observations that are with researchers present to observe and collect data regarding the Implementation of Nahwu-Shorof Learning in Improving the Ability to Read the Yellow Book at Ibn Abbas Islamic Boarding School and participate in activities there relating to matters he researched. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the researchers found that Nahwu-Shorof learning carried out in Ibn Abbas Islamic Boarding School was more directed at the qiyasiyah or deductive method, namely the method whose application begins by discussing the rules in Nahwu and Shorof books that must be understood so that the sciences are easily absorbed by the santri by giving examples, after which the santri is given the opportunity to carry out exercises to apply the rules given, the latter students are instructed to memorize the rules that have been conveyed and discussed in class so that science not just passing and in the next meeting will be checked the power of understanding. this deductive method is designed with more specific stages and formulated with other methods such as memorization, lectures, group discussions, istiqrariyah, and others Keywords: nahwu-shorof, kitab kuning, and nahwu-shorof learning methods
