Retno Palupi/A210140091. IMPLEMENTATION OF LEARNING WITH THE 2017 REVISED EDITION OF THE 2013 CURRICULUM FOR X GRADE TEACHERS IN SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 1 SURAKARTA 2018/2019 ACADEMIC YEAR. Essay. Teaching and Education Faculty of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. May. 2019. The purpose of this study is to describe the teacher's understanding related to the implementation of the 2013 Revised Edition 2017 Curriculum for Economics class X teachers at Surakarta Muhammadiyah 1 High School. This research is qualitative with ethnographic design. The researcher used three data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The subject of this study was the Economics class X teacher of Muhammadiyah 1 High School Surakarta. The observations in this study are: 1) RPP designed by class X Economics subject teachers, 2) Implementation of the 2013 Revised Edition 2017 Curriculum for Class X Economics subject teachers. The results of this study indicate that the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) compiled by the teacher has not clearly seen the insertion of elements 4C, HOTS, PPK and GLS. In addition, the RPP that had been prepared by the previous teacher had not been used as a guideline in the course of teaching and learning activities. There are gaps in the learning steps from the start of the preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities. The most visible gap occurs in core activities, namely when delivering material. In the preliminary activities if based on the lesson plan, the teacher divides students into 6 groups, then at the core activities the students discuss and present the results. While the learning activities that take place, the teacher explains the material then provides practice questions that are done individually and assessed. Learning activities are also not focused on students, which still do not reflect the KBM with the 2013 Curriculum. This can be proven from the information presented by the speakers and informants who stated difficulties in adjusting for curriculum changes.
