Abstract

Construction of shopping centers is now increasing, along with the development of infrastructure in various regions. Initially the construction of shopping centers only occurred in big cities such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung and others. However, now the construction of shopping centers has begun to be built in small towns. Shopping malls with mall concept are more in demand by consumers with today's lifestyle. The convenience and comfort provided by shopping malls with various sophisticated, modern, and luxurious infrastructures do indeed give more value to visitors. However, as time goes on online shopping will be even greater and the possibility that the mall will be defeated by online shopping. To prevent and overcome this possibility, eating an innovative shopping center is needed. One concept that can provide a new experience in shopping and recreation is to combine the concept of a shopping center with the Citywalk concept. This concept is intended so that visitors not only focus on shopping in a building, but also can take a walk and shop on a pedestrian line equipped with various facilities and infrastructure without eliminating the concept of the Mall with its added value that provides a variety of modern facilities.
