Abstract

This research tries to know and describe :1) The development program of teachers’ quality perfomance which is made by the head master in SMPN 1 Mantingan Year 2018/2019. 2) The implementation of the development program of teachers’ quality perfomence that made by the head master in SMPN 1 Mantingan Year 2018/2019. This research is qualitative research. The method of collecting data used interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used discriptive analysis with deductive method that departs from general events is then reduced to special parts. The results of this research are: 1) The head master uses five programs to develop the quality of teacher performance. The programs are supervision of learning, study permits, MGMPS and District MGMP, coaching, and teacher performance evaluation. 2) The implementation of first program is supervision of learning an assessment program for teachers in conducting learning in the class that have some steps in preparation, assessment, evaluation and guidance. Second study permits are permitting programs to continue studies in higher education for teachers who have desire to improve their abilities in the scientific field where the process is without leaving responsibility as educators. Third, the MGMPS and District MGMP programs which in this program teachers gather based on clusters of study fields to discuss with each other with the goals to increase their capacity. Beside that the teachers also delegated to take a part in MGMP activities at the Regency level. The fourth coaching is a programs that are once a week include motivation, education and innovation of the head master in educate the teachers. The fifth is assessment of teacher performance that have a goal to make help it easier for head master to doing an assessments and guidance for teachers and also to make continuity for assessment of teacher performance program.
