Abstract

The problem of the distribution of electrical power from the plant to the center of the load is reduced. Power losses occurs due to one of the existence value of barriers on conducting change electric energy into heat. The magnitude of the power it gives the losses for providers and consumers of electrical energy, therefore the need for in-depth assessment against this power losses problem. The authors conducted research power losses due to the magnitude of the value of the prisoners on a transmission line PT. PLN (Persero) Substation 150kV Palur to Substation 150kV Sragen originally transmission line directly, the configuration is modified into a Substation 150kV Palur to Substation 150kV Masaran then from the Substation 150kV Masaran to Substation 150kV Sragen. This research is used to find out how the magnitude of the influence of changes of channel configuration against the magnitude of power losses calculation method using manual with mathematical equations. Final results of the research obtained by the difference in the magnitude of power losses the average per day before and after the change of configuration of 80996 W. Changes the configuration of the transmission channels give effect reduced the losses experienced by PT. PLN (Persero), due to losses of the power transmission line, because the power was reduced after configuration changes smaller than before the changes to the configuration of the transmission line.
