Abstract

This research was conducted to determine whether or not there are effects of leadership style, organizational commitment, and motivation with competence as a moderating variable on the performance of government auditors in Solo Raya region. This study used survey method by giving questions to individual respondents. This research was conducted at Inspectorate Offices in Solo Raya Region with internal auditor working at Inspectorate of Sukoharjo Regency, Boyolali Regency, Karanganyar Regency, Surakarta City, Klaten Regency and Wonogiri Regency as respondents.The samples were taken using purposive sampling tehcnique with samples of 124 people. The result shows that leadership style, organizational commitment and motivation affect the performance of government auditors in Solo Raya region. Competence as moderating variable of leadership style does not affect the performance of the government auditors.Meanwhile, competence as moderating variable of organizational commitment and motivation affects the performance of government auditors in Solo Raya region.
