Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of land area, labor, and GDP on the production of secondary crops in the rice, corn and soybean sectors in Central Java. The data used is a cross section covering 35 districts / cities in Central Java in 2015, data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as well as other agencies and institutions or other literary sources related to this research. The model used in this study is Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The results of this study indicate that the Land Area variable (LL) has a significant effect on secondary crop production in Central Java, while the variable labor (TK) and GRDP does not have a significant effect on secondary crop production in Central Java. The results showed (R2) of R2 = 0.979653 which means 97.96. This means that the influence of independent variables (land area, labor and GDP on the dependent variable (secondary crop production) is 97.96% while the remaining 2.04% is influenced or explained by other factors outside the research model.
