Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the form of impoliteness and deviance deviance principles found on Facebook social media. This type of research uses qualitative methods. The data source in this study is uploads on Facebook social media. The data in this study are in the form of impoliteness and politeness principle deviations. The data collection technique used is the note-taking technique. The data analysis method uses a pragmatic equivalent method. There are two results in this study. One, obtained 3 manifestations of impoliteness in buying and selling activities on Facebook social media. Two, the deviation of politeness principles found in buying and selling activities on social media Facebook social media up to 6 maxims.
