Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of singing activities on the children self-confidence of Group-A children in Gaya Baru 3 Surakarta Academic Year of 2018/ 2019. The method in this research was a quantitative methods using the type of experimental research with a pre-experimental design research design using one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted from January-February 2019 at Gaya Baru 3 Kinderganrten in Surakarta with a total of 15 children. Data collection techinques in this research using a t-test with the help of SPSS 16.0 for windows. The result of data analysis using t-test obtained value of tcount 14.396 <-ttabel -17.613. From the data analysis that has been done, it can be conclude that there are influence between singing activities towards self-confidence.
