Abstract

Winch reducer gear on the truck crane (mobile crane) is a component that serves to reduce the rotation of the winch motor (hydraukic motor) but can increase the torque output of the winch device on the truck crane ( mobile crane ). Gear winch reducer on a truck crane uses a planetary gear system where the planetary will produce large torque but a small rotation. Planetary gear is divised into three main elements, namely sun gear, planetary carrier, and ring gear as the driver. Winch reducer gear is in the winch device system which is divided into several components, including : winch motor, winch brake, and winch reducer gear. Winch device functions to pull the load vertically using wire rope as a medium. This analysis will only discuss the working mechanism of gear reducer and the magnitude of the forces acting. The analysis result of the winch gear reducer reduce speed by using 2 levels of planetary gear, the rotation of the 200 rpm winch motor is reduced to 171,43 rpm at the first level and 134,95 rpm at the second level. The load of each gear 5,737 N/mm², planet gear 1,544 N/mm², and ix at ring gear 0. While the second level planetary gear is 1,68 N/mm² sun gear, planet gear 1,673 N/mm², and ring gear 0 because the ring gear is held up by the housing of the gear reducer winch.
