Abstract
This study entitled “Analysis of technical efficiency batik industries in Kec. Masaran Kab. Sragen. The purpose of this study is to analyze level of technical efficiency batik industries in Kec. Masaran Kab. Sragen. Data analysis methods used in this study is analysis Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The data used are the primary data data and secondary data. The primary data taken through direct interviews with the owners of 160 batik industries by using a list of questions in Desa Kliwonan. And the secondary data taken by various literature, past researches and related sources these are monograph data in Desa Kliwonan and data of BPS Kab Sragen. The analysis based on DEAP 2.1 with 35 samples of batik industries in Kec. Masaran Kab. Sragen. From 35 samples there is 3 efficient batik industries and 32 unefficient batik industries. This unefficient caused by input variables these are too much total labor, long of effort, and initial capital. On output variables of each batik industry has to add level of total production to be more optimal in economic activity.
