Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning strategies and parents' attention on accounting learning achievement of class XI Social Sciences students of Muhammadiyah 1 High School Surakarta. This study included quantitative research with surveys using the questionnaire method. The object of this research is the class XI students of Social Sciences Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta High School, totaling 122 students with 61 students. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression test, t test, f test, Rtest2, relative and effective contribution. The results of the study using regression analysis obtained a regression equation of: Y = 30,002 + 1,033X1 + 1, 380X2. Equations show that accounting learning achievement is influenced by learning strategies and parents' attention. The conclusions taken are: 1) learning strategies have an effect on acceptable accounting learning achievement. This is based on multiple linear regression (t test). It is known that tcount > ttable, namely 2.495> 2.002 and a significance value of 0,000 <0.05 with a relative contribution of 43.4% and an effective contribution of 16.77%. 2) the attention of parents influences the accounting learning achievement is acceptable. This is based on multiple linear regression (t test). It is known that tcount > ttable, namely 3.070> 2.002 and a significance value of 0,000 <0.05 with a relative contribution of 56.6% and an effective contribution of 21.83%. 3) learning strategies and attention of parents influences the accounting learning achievement is acceptable. This is based on the analysis of multiple linear regression variants (f test), it is known that fcount > ftable is 18.205> 3.156 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. 4) The coefficient of determination (R2)of 0.386 indicates that the influence of learning strategies and the attention of parents to the student achievement accounting amounted to 38.6%, while 61.4% are influenced by other variables not examined by the researchers.
