Abstract

This research is aimed to develop print learning media by realistic open ended students worksheets on material problems linear equation system with two variables. the validation and the appropriateness are examined by media experts, mathematics teacher of class VIII and student’s responses. This research is using research and development methods (R&D) with ADDIE research model. The steps include analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the research show that media which is created is valid and appropriate to use as mathematics learning media to the material of two-variable linear equation systems. Validation test from media experts and mathematics teachers of class VIII obtained a score of 3.8 with the percentage 95% which included a very valid category. The appropriateness test conducted by 8 students which take is from 43 students in one class, obtained a mean of 3.5 with the percentage 87.5% which included a very appropriate category.
