Abstract

Ikatan Pelajar Muhammadiyah (IPM) is an autonomous Muhammadiyah organization that plays a role in printing community cadres among students. IPM is active in organizing regeneration activities so that the cadre process is not interrupted especially at Muhammadiyah student level. At the regional level, the regeneration activities of the IPM are called the Pelatihan Kader Taruna Melati 2 (PKTM 2). Sub Regional Leadership of IPM Surakarta is the implementer of PKTM 2 activities in Surakarta. In organizing these activities, the Regional Leadership of IPM in Surakarta decided to use the IPM Cadre System as a guideline for implementing PKTM 2 activities by adjusting the needs of participants in Surakarta. It is intended that the activities in accordance with those formulated by the IPM Central Leadership without overruling the cadre culture that has been running in Surakarta. This type of the research is field research with data sources obtained directly from the chair of PKTM 2 activities and General Chairperson of IPM Surakarta. The method of collecting data is obtained through observation, interviews, and activity documents. While the data analysis used is a deductive analysis pattern. In this study, it can be concluded that there are four materials presented in PKTM 2 activities in Surakarta, namely the material of Youth Psychology, Kemuhammadiyahan, KeIPMan, and Leadership. The fourth material is a form of implementation of the IPM Cadre System in the implementation of PKTM 2 activities in Surakarta.
