Abstract

APPLICATION OF VIDEO SCRIBE-BASED LEARNING MEDIA TO IMPROVE STUDENT ACTIVITIES IN FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING LEARNING OF XI CLASS IN BATIK 1 VOCATIONAL SCHOOL, SURAKARTA.Essay.Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. February 2019. This study aims to determine the application of scribe-based video learning media to improve the learning activeness of students in class XI financial accounting learning in Surakarta 1 st batik. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The design of this study is qualitative research that uses interview analysis. Data collection techniques are participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study include: data reduction, data presentation, verification / conclusion drawing, and data collection. Informants were students of class XI AK 1 and XI AK 2. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the level of student activity increased with the application of scribe-based video learning media to improve students' learning activeness in class XI financial accounting learning in Surakarta 1 st batik. This can be seen from: 1) the activity of students in participating in the implementation of learning, 2) the activeness of students in interacting with the teacher, 3) the activeness of students in group collaboration, 4) the activeness of students in expressing opinions in groups, 5) the activity of students participating in groups. This means that the research conducted by the researcher collaborated with the teacher of Financial Accounting subjects. Based on the results of research that has been done shows that the level of activity of each class is, for class XI AK 1 62, 60%, for class XI AK 2 shows the level of student activity has a percentage of 89.33%. The results of this activity for class XI AK 1 were treated using power point media and class XI AK 2 using scribe video media. This shows that the use of scribe video media is more able to increase student activity in the implementation of learning.
