Abstract

Mental health is an important sector in achieving overall health. Mental health cadres are one of the roles of the community that help health workers in treating mental disorders in the community. as well as the active role of community figure to help provide mental health promotion so that the negative stigma towards the community towards post Shackling patients can be reduced. The aim to partisipation of cadres and community figure in health promotion to patients after sackling in Sukoharjo.. The study method uses qualitative descriptive. The design of this study uses a phenomenological approach. The participants were 6 cadres and 3 community figure. The instruments use in-depth interviews. The collecting data use uses interviews and documentation. The results of this study are partisipation of cadres in conducting home visits is to visit patients after shackling with a schedule once a month, following health promotion activities to improve knowledge, attitudes and behavior for mental patients. The same thing for figure community as protectors of the community can help when the need for help is included in terms of health checks of patients after shackling
