Abstract

In the current development until now electricity is a necessity of life that must be fulfilled in daily life. Indonesia must develop non-fossil renewable energy from nature, can be used continuously because the amount is not limited. Then a hydropower reservoir is needed to meet these electricity needs. High sediment levels cause filling of reservoirs and loss of direct storage, which in turn causes loss of production potential. So sedimentation is calculated by the empirical formula of Einstein, MPM, and Lane Kalinske. Obtained annual discharge was 486,233,353.5 m3, and the sedimentation value included, Einstein bed load 88.16 tons, Mayer bed load Peter Muller at 16.86 tons, and Lane Kalinske for 211 tons. The amount of sediment load for suspended load with the Kalinske Lane equation is 16,718 tons, and Einstein is 30,438 tons. From the data, the highest sedimentation equation was chosen with the Kalinske bed load Lane equation of 211ton and Einstein suspended load with total sediment amounted to 241.438 tons / day. From the annual discharge data amounting to 6,167,409,187 m3 with a capacity of 5000 Acre-ft Obtained dimensions of 420 m in length, 245 m in width, 122.4 m of net head and intake height of 30 m, half of the dam height 60 m. and the final result is the year of sediment filling obtained at 57.6 years.
