Abstract

The research of the Development of Authentic Evaluation Model in SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta aimed to describe about (1) the authentic assessment model at SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta that has been running so far; (2) the efficiency of the performance assessment instrument model at SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta; (3) the effectiveness and practicality of the model of performance assessment instruments that have been developed at SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta. The method used is research and development ( Research and Development/ R&D ). The data collecting done by observation, interview, questionnaires and documentation. To examine the data validity using credibility test (internal validity) and transferability test ( external validity ). The conclusion of this research is the percentage of teachers who carry out performance assessment using software is still low at 20%. The value of efficiency, effectiveness, and practicality of the instrument used for performance assessment used is still low at 72%. The final results of this research show an increase in the percentage of performance assessment using software by teachers by 91%. The value of efficiency, effectiveness, and practicality of the performance assessment instruments used has increased to 92%.
