Abstract

Public facilities such as parking lots become an important requirement for motor vehicle users and various places with parking spaces. The parking method that is often encountered is the manual method by using the ticket. Problems that often arise is a mistake in recording the number of vehicle license plate and cause the vehicle when entering the parking lot. Another disadvantage when motorists lose parking tickets so that not a few they have to pay a fine at a cost of more than the normal cost. In this final project, a parking access system uses e-ID card with Arduino-based RFID technology is proposed. RFID itself has two parts, namely, RFID reader and tags with reader function as a data reader on the tag card while the tag serves to store data. RFID tags as parking access in this system using an e-ID card. This tool can be used and works by motorists attaching a driver's e-ID card to the reader. After taging, the system will record the unique identification number (UID) e-ID card. The test results of this system and tool is obtained by testing the ability of the tag distance with the reader, IR sensor, and testing as a whole. From the test results between the tag and reader reads a maximum of one cm. While both IR sensor reaches 30 cm. The overall success rate of testing is 100%. Besides aiming to facilitate access in the parking, security is more easily maintained and save paper
