Abstract

This Research is a field research with a title "The Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Methods in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten". Al-Qur'an is a holy book that was revealed to the prophet Muhammad saw as a guide, lesson, and life guide for Muslims. The memorizers of al-Qur'an are people who have been chosen by Allah swt throughout the history of human life to maintain the purity of al-Qur'an. SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten has a superior program, namely the tahfidz al-Qur'an class. In implementing the learning, the tahfidz al-Qur'an collaborates with Griya Qur'an Klaten. Thus this purpose of this research is 1) To describe methods used in the tahfidz al-Qur'an class learning. 2) To describe the level of succes of the tahfidz al-Qur'an class learning methods. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach the object of research is the tahfidz class learning methods. While the subject of this research were principals, ustadz who supervising tahfidz al-Qur'an class, and students who were undergoing the memorization process. Data collection methods used by the outhor are observation, interviews, and documentation. The tahfidz al-Qur'an class in SMA Muhammdiyah 1 Klaten uses four methods, 1) The tallaqi method, 2) The halaqah method, 3) The juz'i method, and 4) The level method.
