Abstract

In an effort to accelerate economic development industrialization is one of the strategies carried out by the government that aims to improve people's lives. The main goal is to provide more employment opportunities. Because more workers are absorbed there will be an increase in population welfare. Efforts to recruit workers cannot be separated from several factors that influence it, such as population growth and workers, economic development and recruitment of workers and do not deny other businesses that can increase productivity higher through other programs. One way to increase recruitment of workers is to develop industries, especially industries that focus on production work. Developing a work production industry will increase production capacity so that it can make job oppotunities. The main objective of this study was to analyze the effect of wage level, production value and working capital on labor absorption in Batik small and medium industries in Laweyan. This method of analysis is multiple linear regression. The data used in this study is based on the main data obtained from direct interviews with batik entrepreneurs in Laweyan included in the list of questions prepared.
