Abstract

Electricity became a primary human need especially Indonesian people. Nearly all activities and equipment daily use electrical power. The Government has employed PT. PLN (Persero) which was commissioned in the field of electric power providers for indonesia, PT. PLN (Persero) is required to provide the best for the people of indonesia. Frequent disturbances on power system voltage drop issues especially on which also resulted in a decrease in the voltage profile. This study discusses the network maneuvering strategy on penyulang BWN-2 aiming as repair voltage drop voltage profiles simultaneously. Single line diagram of the data obtained from the PT. PLN Salatiga Service Unit will be simulated by a software i.e. ETAP Power Station 12.6 to know the State of tension in the BWN-penyulang 2. The results of the simulation showed that penyulang BWN-2 undergoes a State of voltage drop on some buses, the situation looks with the red indicator on the bus which defines the State of the critical, a situation that requires improvement. Critical state occurs when a voltage drop experienced up to 10%. An action maneuver performed against BWN-2 against BWN BWN-6 and-9. Action maneuvers carried out to test a condition at BWN-2 in the event of a disruption and should be done with other penyulang maneuvers action. This case shows a problem namely the occurrence of voltage drop which will also have an effect on the voltage profile. The result of the maneuver indicates circumstances are better on penyulang BWN-2, original critical circumstances changed to marginally, which means it is already entered in the safe limits or State of a network.
