Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze: (1) the effect of the use of cooperative learning on mathematics learning outcomes, (2) the effect of student learning motivation on mathematics learning outcomes, (3) the interaction effect between cooperative learning and student motivation on mathematics learning outcomes. This type of quantitative and quasi-experimental research. The population of the research was the seventh grade students of Sragen State Middle School 3. The sample in this study were students of class VII B and VII D who were selected using cluster random sampling technique. The technique of collecting data uses test methods, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses two-way variance analysis with unequal cells. Post-anova test using the Scheffe method. The results of the study with α = 5% are: 1) There are differences in student mathematics learning outcomes between Two Stay Two Stray type cooperative learning and Teams Games Tournament. 2) There is an influence of student learning motivation on mathematics learning outcomes. 3) there is no interaction between type Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning and Teams Games Tournament and motivation category learning enthusiasm or encouragement, desire, and hope for mathematics learning outcomes.
