Abstract

In the village of Banjarejo, Gabus Subdistrict, Grobogan District found many ancient animal fossils such as stegodon elephants, buffaloes, bulls, deer, porcupines, and wild boar. However, various discoveries of ancient animal fossils were still inadequate. The development of Elephant Fossil Tourism in Banjarejo is an effort to redesign a container that serves the public needs, in activities of conserving, managing, maintaining, caring for, protecting, and exhibiting systematically and conceptually of objects of important value in a building of the Fossil Elephant Museum in Banjarejo Grobogan Regency , through the redesign process which includes space requirements, architectural displays (exterior and interior) and structures and utilities. Analysis of approaches and concepts of planning and designing fossil elephant attractions include Analysis of Site Location, Mass, Space, Interior Exterior Display, Utility Structure and Emphasis on Architecture which is expected as a design reference. The result of architectural emphasis is the Green Architecture approach.
