Abstract

The subject of Al-Qur'an Hadits is one of the subjects of Islamic education which is an increase of the Qur'an Hadith that has been studied by students in MTs / SMP. The increase was carried out by studying, deepening and exploring the study of the Qur'an and hadith. the purpose of the Qur'anic Hadith subjects is to strengthen the faith and piety of Allah SWT. And embody human beings who have noble character and avoid despicable morality in their daily lives both for themselves and for others, as an implementation of the teachings and values of Islamic faith. Muhammadiyah 10 Masaran Vocational School is an Islamic-based vocational school one of the mission of this school is to live and practice Islamic religion students equipped with religious knowledge one of which is the Qur'an and Hadith, one method used in learning is the drill method. The purpose of using drill methods is for students to better understand the material being studied and strengthen students in memorizing verses in the Qur'an. The purpose of this study was to describe effective or not drill methods in the Al-Qur'an Hadith lessons at Muhammadiyah Vocational High School 10 Masaran and describe the application of the drill method. This study included a type of field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection uses the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses three stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusions. Draw conclusions using deductive-inductive methods. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the drill method in the Al-Qur'an lesson in class X of Muhammadiyah 10 Masaran Vocational School is as follows: 1) the use of the drill method in Al-Qur'an learning is quite effective seen from the observation of the number of presentation criteria 85% while not good is 15% of this result, the indicators expected by researchers and teachers are achieved well in Al-Qur'an learning in class X. 2) Before learning begins the teacher conditions students to be conducive in participating in learning. At the beginning of the activity the teacher opens the lesson with basmalah and continues with checking the attendance of students. The teacher explains the material. In the core activity (observing), the teacher asks students to read verses related to the subject matter. When the teacher's question and answer asks students about the material being studied, the teacher asks students to look for examples according to the material. The teacher asks several students to read the results and the teacher clarifies. In the closing activity the teacher evaluates the results of learning and concludes learning.
