Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out the relationship between job satisfaction and performance, 2) determine the level of job satisfaction, 3) know the level of performance. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and performance. The Quota Sampling technique is used for sampling in this study. The method of data collection uses a quantitative approach with measuring instruments in the form of job satisfaction scale questionnaires and performance appraisal forms. While data analysis is carried out by analysis of Product Moment using the SPSS 16.0 for Windows auxiliary program. Based on the results of data analysis obtained sig (2-tailed) of 0.158 (p <0.05), which means there is no relationship between job satisfaction and performance. Job satisfaction of elementary school teachers in Mondokan Subdistrict is classified as high, judging from the empirical mean (150.18) greater than the average hypothesis (120) and the performance obtains an empirical mean of 83.60.
