Abstract

The purpose of this study is; (a) Knowing the role of the police in enforcing the law of Capjiekia gambling; (b) Knowing the police obstacles in overcoming gambling crime; (c) Knowing the law enforcement of the crime of Capjiekia gambling in the jurisdiction of the Boyolali Regional Police.Collecting data that is needed or used as this research material uses the following methods: The method of approach used in this study is the Empirical approach, namely the effort to approach the problem under study with the nature of the law that is real or in accordance with the reality that exists in society. The type of research that will be used is Descriptive research, which is a study that aims to provide a clear picture of criminal law policies in dealing with criminal acts of Capjiekia gambling and law enforcement in the RegencyBoyolali.Based on the results of the study that; (a) The police make arrests of suspects from Gambjiekia gamblers and confiscate evidence for the purpose of uncovering the mode of Capjiekia gambling; (b) Boyolali Regional Police found officers who were guardians of each of their operations, Lack of adequate facilities became a barrier for Boyolali Regional Police, Lack of public trust in law enforcement officers; (c) conduct preventive actions (Non-reasoning) and Preventive Actions related to gambling.
