Abstract

This study aims to determine the spatial pattern of small and medium industries in the metal industry sector (ISIC 25) in Juwana District. The first stage, research was conducted by knowing the metal industry in Juwana based on the number of units and labor based on the number of units and labor. At this stage the analysis tool used is spatial analysis with geographic information systems (GIS), the results of the analysis show that the metal industry concentration. Juwana District is concentrated in Growong Lor Village with superior products in the form of metal ornaments, door hinges, door handles, wind rights, bathroom filters, and gutters. The second stage of the study was to determine the concentration of labor indexes in the Juwana District metal industry. At this stage the analysis is done by calculating the CI value (Concentration Index). The analysis shows that Growong Lor Village, Juwana Subdistrict, is the highest concentration of labor. So it was concluded that the Growong Lor region was the region that had the highest concentration of units and metal sector labor (ISIC 25) in Juwana.
