Abstract

School-age children need nutrition education to prevent the occurrence of nutritional problems, one of which is anemia. From the initial survey there were 22,2% of the students SDIT Al Falaah Sambi who had less anemia knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of educational media games as a nutritional education suggestion, to increase the knowledge of anemia in students of SD Falah Sambi. This type of research is combination of Research and Development and Quasy experiment. Sample was done by Simple Random Sampling technique with total sample of 50 student. Data analysis used Kolmogorov Smirnov and Paired Sample Test. Based on the results of data analysis using Paires Sample Test, the test results obtained p = 0.000. so that it showed an influence on students' knowledge after being given nutritional education with educational media games. The average knowledge score of respondents after being given nutrition education increased from 17.24 to 19.24. The results showed that 60% had a good knowledge, 40% had enogh knowledge.
