Abstract

This study entitled "Analysis affecting the absorption of labor in the medium and large industrial sectors in Indonesia in 2014-2016”. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the effect of independent variables, namely Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), Regional Minimum Wage (RMW), Investment (INV) and Inflation (INF) on Medium and Large Industrial Sector Labor Absorption in Indonesia. This study was sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (CSA). The analysis method used is Panel Data Regression Analysis. Based on the results of the Panel Data Regression test shows that the variable Gross Domestic Product has a positive and significant effect on Labor Absorption, the variable Regional Minimum Wage (UMR) has a negative and insignificant effect on Manpower Absorption, the Investment variable has a negative and insignificant effect on Manpower Absorption, Inflation variables have a negative and insignificant effect on Manpower Absorption.
