Abstract

Settlement of industrial relations disputes conducted by mediators at the Sragen Regency Manpower Office, only based on the method of mediation, this is in accordance with Article 1 number 1 of Law No. 2 of 2004 concerning the Settlement of Industrial Relations Disputes, namely: a) the existence of parties (2 people or more); b) different goals, namely one party wants the other party to behave according to what he wants; c) the other party rejects the desire or the desire cannot be united. Mediation conducted between PT. Bati with employees succeed 5 and produce a peace agreement, the parties with the help of mediators must formulate in writing the agreement reached and signed by the parties and mediators. The Joint Agreement Letter on October 31, 2017 has held negotiations and reached an agreement that both parties PT. BATI with employees has agreed to make a collective agreement on this as Article 7 of Law No. 2 of 2004 concerning the Settlement of Industrial Relations Disputes. Legal protection provided by PT. Offer to employees the termination of employment in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Some of the protection provided is: a) Employers can terminate employment for workers / laborers because they are entering the age of retirement and if the employer has included workers in a pension program whose contributions are paid in full by the employer.This is based on Article 167 paragraph 1 of Law No, 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower; b) Termination of Employment Relations is regulated in Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower which is; Severance pay, regulated in Article 156 Paragraph (1) In the event of termination of employment, the employer is obliged to pay severance pay and or work period awards and compensation rights that should be received.
