Abstract

Financing activities in Surakarta hospitals are currently dominated by JKN KIS participants, 94.3% of Surakarta residents have been registered as JKN KIS participants. If the claim is delayed, then the hospital's operational activities related to the availability of medicines, the procurement of medical devices and also the incentive payments for employee performance can be delayed. The purpose of this study was to analyze the causes of delay in implementing the BPJS claim process at the UNS Hospital. This research method uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The technique of determining informants using purposive sampling. The informants selected by the researchers consisted of 3 coding and grouping officers as the main informants, and 1 BPJS verifier as triangulation informants. The results showed that the claim filing process was appropriate, but there were still delays in filing claims that were caused by a lack of human resources, lack of facilities and infrastructure and the absence of SPO.
