Abstract

Abstract Diarrhea disease is a disease that occurs in almost all parts of the world, with severse dehydration and the highest mortality rates occur in infants and children under five. Morbidity and mortality in infants caused by diarrhea in Indonesia are still high. Patients with diarrhea in Puskesmas Gambirsari on January-October 2018 as many as 1.074. This study aims to determine the relationship of age feeding complementary foods plus breast milk, method feeding complementary foods plus breast milk, and hygiene users of milk bottles with frequency the occurance diarrhea of baby. The method of the research was observation with crossectional approach. The sample of this research were 93 mothers who have baby in the of 6-12 months. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Statistic analyzed used chi square test. The result of this research showed there was relationship between age feeding complementary foods plus breast milk (p=0,000) with frequency the occurance diarrhea of baby in the of 6-12 months in Puskesmas Gambirsari, there was no relationship between method feeding complementary foods plus breast milk (p=0,056) with frequency the occurance diarrhea of baby in the of 6-12 months in Puskesmas Gambirsari, and there was no relationship between hygiene users of milk bottles (p=0,990) with frequency the occurance diarrhea of baby in the of 6-12 months in Puskesmas Gambirsari.
