Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the independence, work experience, due professional care, accountability and competency for the quality of audits. The population in this study is theauditor of KAP in Central Java and DIY. Determination of sample, using a purposive sampling method. The data in this research isobtained by distributing questionnaires to the respondents on 11 KAP in the city of Solo, Semarang and Yogyakarta, with the number of samples is 36 respondents. For testing research hypotheses using multiple regression analysis. These results prove that the independence, work experience, due professional care, accountability had no effect on audit quality.
