Abstract

Excavators are a type of heavy equipment whose operation is influenced by the force acting on the angle of the boom and arm attachment combination. In this analysis using a combination of attachment angles 90˚, 70˚ and 110˚ on the condition of the unit in a stationary state by transporting material in the form of sand to the bucket. The next analysis procedure uses the concept of statics in calculating the equilibrium of force in attactmen with angle variations of 90, 70 and 110. Furthermore, in knowing the attachment weight points using the help of AutoCad software. The results of the calculation of the calculation of the load uniformity of the main boom are 0.319 kg / mm, the unit load is evenly distributed at 0.452 kg / mm, and the even weight of the counterweight is 7.733 kg / mm, on the arm with a 5 sudut angle variation on the vertical line of the unit 3.984 kg / mm, on arm variation 15˚ amounting to 1,342 kg / mm, at a variation of 25˚ of 0.821 kg / mm. Whereas the center of attachment obtained from Unit and counterweight on the y axis = 912.16 mm and x axis = 2377.17 mm, Boom on the y axis = 1479 mm and x axis = 2085 mm, Bucket on the y axis = 282 mm and x axis = 657 mm , Arm with an angle of 5 berat obtained a center of gravity on the y axis = 585 mm and x axis = 283 mm, Arm with an angle of 15˚ obtained a center of gravity on the y axis = 647 mm and x axis = 65 mm, Arm with an angle of 25˚ obtained a point weight on the y = 453 axis and x axis = 461. And the results of the force equilibrium calculation on the attachment angle variations are 90º, 70º and 110º expressed as a balance of 10756 kgmm.
