Abstract
Traditional herbal drugs is inherited from ancestors in the form of traditional herbs used by people to maintain a healthy body, especially for postpartum mothers. The traditional drugs during the puerperium is also to facilitate the production of breast milk. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of knowledge, attitude and action of taking traditional medicine with maternal health and smoothness of milk in the work area of Puskesmas Banyudono 1. This type of research use observational research with cross sectional design. Population and sample in this research is all breastfeeding mother and have baby 0-2 month in work area of Banyudono I District Health Center Boyolali that is 47 people. Data analysis technique using Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between knowledge, attitude, and action with postpartum health with p value received at the level of significance of sample with 5%. There was a significant correlation between the action with the smoothness of breast milk with the p value received at the sample significance level by 5%.
