Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of parenting parents on student achievement of high class SD Muhammadiyah 7 Joyosuran Surakarta. This type of research is descriptive research with quantitative approach. The research subject of high grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 7 Joyosuran Surakarta Academic Year 2014/2015. The data collection technique using questionnaires and documentation techniques. Data were analyzed using t-test was preceded by a prerequisite test analysis, the test for normality and homogeneity. Based on the results of data analysis with significant and often aloof sphere of 5% was obtained t_hitung> t_tabel is 2.742> 2.048. The conclusion of this study is a significant difference between parenting parents with high-grade student achievement SD Muhammadiyah 7 Joyosuran Surakarta Academic Year 2014/2015.
