Abstract

Enchantment of Islamic boarding schools more and more widespread and known to the public, boarding schools have been trusted by the community as an educational institution that can change a person to be more religious, with the rapid development of the times, association that is so free, pesantren are entrusted by the community to educate their son and daughter to study religion thoroughly. Students who study at boarding schools are required to stay in the dormitory for 24 hours, so the pesantren has full time to educate its students. By obliging each student to live in a boarding school, then there is a need for strict supervision, this was done by the teachers who participated in the dormitory, and assisted by student organizations, at Islamic Boarding School Al-Mukmin Ngruki called it the Imaarotus Syu'unith Tholibah organization (IST). The purpose of this research is to find out how the role of the Imaarotus Syu'unith Tholibah Organization (IST) in enhancing the religiousity of santriwati at Al-Mukmin Ngruki Islamic Boarding School. To find out what activities are made by the IST organization which can contribute to improving student religiosity. And to find out the obstacles faced by members of the Imaaratus Syu'unith Tholibah Organization when carrying out each activity. This type of research is a field research at the Al-Mukmin Ngruki Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying descriptive analysis methods. Data collection methods used are interviews, documentation and observation. Where as for the results of this study, used a qualitative descriptive analysis approach consisting of four activities namely, review all data from various sources (interviews, observation and documentation), reduce data, then choose data that matches the theory and problem formulation, presenting data in the form of narratives and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study showed that, Imaarotus Syu'unith Tholibah organization has a very important role in pesantren, because he is the right hand of the pesantren, the keenness of his participation in supervision and the implementation of Boarding school activity is needed. Because within 24 hours students cannot continue relying on a very limited number of teachers. therefore Imaarotus Syu'unith Tholibah was involved in Boarding school activity, one of which was in religious activities.
