Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of: 1) The influence of television shows on social interaction in Jenalas Public Elementary School in 2018. 2) The influence of television shows on children's aggressiveness in Jenalas Public Elementary School in 2018. 3) The influence of television shows on social interaction and aggressiveness of children in Jenalas Public Elementary School in 2018. This study uses quantitative methods that use 40 samples of students as respondents with quota sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires or questionnaires and documentation. Test prerequisite analysis instrument using normality test, homogeneity test. Data analysis uses an alternative Preason Product Moment to find the relationship between X and Y1 and X with Y2, the analysis of Multivariate Analysis of Variance to determine the relationship of X with Y1 and Y2. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of television shows on the social interaction and aggressiveness of children in Jenalas Public Elementary School based on the Multivariate Analysis of Variance test with a significant value of 0.05 obtained sig count 0.000. Sig count 0,000 <sig table 0,05 can be concluded that Ho is rejected and accept Ha.
