Abstract

University.2018 This study aims to describe: 1) To deckription the learning process using discovery learning learning model at Colomadu Public High School 2) To deckription the inhibiting and supporting factors of discovery learning model learning at Colomadu State High School. This type of research is qualitative research. Research subjects were principals and economic teachers. The object of research is in Colomadu State High School. The research was carried out by conducting interviews in depth observation, and documentation. The results of this study are 1) the learning process usinglearning model discovery learning in Colomadu State High School is good in terms of school readiness, teacher readiness, and classroom teacher perceptions, but it cannot be said to be perfect, because not all classes or student can change their habits, starting from the habits in the previous curriculum conventionally. 2) suppoting factors in discovery learning in Colomadu Public High School are schools that have provided facilities or teaching aids in the library supporting the learning process, but the facilities provided are not maximized. As for the inhibiting factors there are still difficulties both in their assessment, the medium which is more or less influencing the learning strategies and methods.
