Abstract

J 310 140 038 THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BADUTA NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF CHILDREN WHO WERE GIVEN FOOD A COMPANION BREASTFEEDING WITH CENTRAL CHILDREN UNDER TWO WHO WERE GIVEN FOOD A COMPANION BREASTFEEDING NOT EARLY AT PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE IN KARTASURA REGENCY OF SUKOHARJO Introduction: Malnutrition occurs a lot at the age of 6 months and above because at this age there is a transition from breast milk to complementary food breastfeeding. The prevalence of nutritional status in children under five in Indonesia in 2013 was 19.6% consisting of 5.7% malnutrition and 13.9% malnutrition. Data from the Kartasura Health Center in Sukoharjo Regency shows that the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is 22.81%. Nutritional status can be influenced by direct factors, namely the frequency of eating, infectious diseases and genetics while the indirect factor is the pattern of parenting. Research Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine differences in nutritional status between the number of adults who were given early food a companion breastfeeding and those who were not given early food a companion breastfeeding at Puskesmas Kartasura, Sukoharjo Regency. Research Methode: This study uses an observational research design with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study was all million aged 6-23 months registered in the Kartasura Health Center area of Sukoharjo Regency as many as 1010 million, a sample of 30 respondents per group so that the number of samples was 60 respondents who had met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The retrieval technique uses simple random sampling.The research instrument used a research form about giving food a companion breastfeeding. Statistical test using man whitney. Results: The results of the difference indicate that there are differences in the number of people given early food a companion breastfeeding with the number of children who were given an early food a companion breastfeeding. The p value of the difference test of the number of students who were given early food a companion breastfeeding with children under five who were given an early food a companion breastfeeding using Mann Whitney is 0.003. Children under five who were given early food a companion breastfeeding had an average nutritional status of -0.57 and those who were given food a companion breastfeeding had no early nutritional status which was 0.24. Conclusions: there are differences between nutritional status of children under two who were food a companion breastfeeding early with children under two who were food a companion breastfeeding not early at public health service in kartasura regency of sukoharjo.
