Abstract

Sticker is the development of emoticons and emojis but the sticker has a stronger character. With this research aims to find out the meaning of the Lee Min Ho sticker line with the semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Pierce.This research uses the Charles Sanders Semitoka Method. Data collected in this study uses documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that there are various expressions and emotions in Lee Min Ho's 12 stickers. There are 2 categories in this sticker, namely the suppression of expression and reinforcing emotions. Based on the data collected, it was found that there were various kinds of meaning on Lee Min Ho's sticker, especially in terms of expression. The expression consists of physical characteristics and words. The stickers in the classification are in a variety of expressions, namely happy, expecting, upset, indifferent, furious, angry, seductive, and surprised. It is clear that the sticker also represents emotions, in this case emotions are distinguished into 2, namely positive emotions and negative emotions. Sticker Line is a good communication tool, this is considered to be an interesting nonverbal messaging tool.
