Abstract

The purpose of this study: 1) To determine the contribution of parenting parents to the learning achievement of fifth grade students at SD Al Islam 3 Gebang Surakarta. 2) To find out the contribution of parents 'motivation to the fifth grade students' achievement in SD Al Islam 3 Gebang Surakarta. 3) To find out how much the parenting contribution and motivation of parents towards the fifth grade students' learning achievement at SD Al Islam 3 Gebang Surakarta. This study uses a quantitative method that involves 70 respondents with simple rondom sampling technique. The results show the equation of multiple linear regression Y = 50,155 + 0,224X1 + 0,307X2, which states that there is a contribution of parenting and motivation of parents to class V student achievement. The conclusions of this study are: 1) There is a significant contribution to Parenting towards Learning Achievement based on t test with a significance level of 5%, the results obtained from tcount = 3.863> t table = 1.996. 2) There is a significant contribution of motivation to learning achievement based on t test with a significance level of 5% obtained from t count = 6.156> t table = 1.996. 3) There is a contribution of parenting and the Learning motivation towards student learning achievement based on the F test with a significance level of 5% obtained Fcount = 179,347> Ftable = 3,134. 4) The R2 test results obtained the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.843 that the Motivation variable of the students on the learning achievement of fifth grade students of Al Islam 3 Gebang Elementary School Surakarta was 84.3% while the other 15.7% was influenced by other variables. 5) Parenting provides a relative contribution of 37.7% and an effective contribution of 31.78%. Variable Learning motivation gave a relative contribution of 62.3% and an effective contribution of 52.52%.
