Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the Local Original Revenue (PAD) and General Allocation Fund (DAU) to Human Development Index (HDI) by using Expenditure Allocation in Education (BDBP) as a moderating variable. By using Quantitative method analysis, this research use city/district in entire Java as population and purposive sampling method for sampling data. Further, Moderating Research Analysis (MRA) and classical assumption test were also used for determining the Data. The result shows that the degree of coefficient of determination was 0.082 which means that as far as 8.2% variation of HDI variables could be explained by the model whether the remained 91.8% was explained by others factors outside the study. the simultaneous test results indicate that PAD, DAU, PAD*BDBP, and DAU*BDBP have significant influence on HDI, while the partial test result shows that PAD and DAU have significant influence to HDI and BDBP has a significant effect and able to moderate the relationship of PAD and HDI. However, it is proofed that BDBP has no significant effect and could not able as moderating variable to the relationship between DAU and HDI.
