Abstract

Walls are the most important part of structural buildings. Generally walls are made of red brick, brick, concrete, bamboo gypsum and so on. but red brick is often used in addition to the easy to get and the price is affordable red brick wall is also strong. Wall panels are a result of technological developments in the field of precast concrete. At this time the panel wall is more interested in a construction than brick because the panel wall has a relatively lighter weight so it does not give a big burden to a construction. The composition of the walls of lightweight concrete panels used in the form of cement sand, tile fragments as a substitute for gravel, water and bamboo reinforcement. This study aims to be able to make an alternative as a substitute for conventional walls that are more practical and efficient on costs and time. The specifications for the following research use fas: 0.5 ratio of fine aggregate coarse aggregate 1: 3 cement; 5. The total number of samples made is 10 5 with the strengthening of bamboo 5 without bamboo strength with bamboo woven with a distance of 5 cm. In this study, a concrete cylinder with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm was made. Concrete cylinder samples were carried out with specific gravity with a yield of 1.88 gr / cm3 and a compressive strength test with a yield of 9,209 N / mm2. Panel wall with shear strength testing was obtained at 710,20 kN / mm2 (with bamboo reinforcement) and 514,29 kN / mm2 (without bamboo reinforcement) theoretically and 664,01 kN / mm (with bamboo reinforcement) and 565,14 kN / mm (without reinforcement of bamboo) so the panel wall with sliding testing in the laboratory is higher than theoretically calculated.
