Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) The effect of interpersonal skills on the student achievement index of the 2016 Accounting Education Study Program of FKIP UMS. 2) The effect of organizational activeness on the student achievement index of the 2016 Accounting Education Study Program of FKIP UMS. Organize the student achievement index of the 2016 Accounting Education Study Program of FKIP UMS. This type of research is quantitative. The population of this study were students of 2016 who participated in HMP Accounting Education as many as 92 students with a sample of 72 students taken with simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaire methods that have been tested by validity and reliability testing. Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, R2 test, relative and effective contribution. Regression analysis results obtained by the regression equation: Y = 11,983 + 0,323X1 + 0,401X2 which means that the achievement index is influenced by interpersonal skills and organizational activity. The conclusions obtained are: 1) interpersonal ability has a positive effect on the student achievement index of the 2016 Accounting Education Study Program of FKIP UMS. Based on the t test obtained t count> t table, namely 2.687> 2.292 (α = 5%) and significance value <0.05, namely 0.009. 2) Organizational activity has a positive effect on the student achievement index of the 2016 class of Accounting Education Study Program FKIP UMS. Based on the t test obtained t count> t table, namely 3,293> 2,292 (α = 5%) and significance value <0,05, ie 0,002. 3) Interpersonal ability and organizational activity have a positive effect on the student achievement index of the 2016 Accounting Education Study Program of FKIP UMS. Based on the F test results obtained Fcount> FFabel, which is 25,571> 3,130 at 5% significance level. 4) R2 calculation results obtained 0.426, meaning that the influence given by a combination of interpersonal skills and organizational activity on the achievement index is 42.6%, then the remaining 57.4% is influenced by other variables not examined by the researcher. 5) The variable X1 gives a relative contribution of 46.4% and the effective contribution of 19.8% and the variable X2 gives a relative contribution of 53.5% and the effective contribution of 22.8%.
