Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe (1) the form of logical relations between elements in the sentence in the description description of grade VII students in SMP Negeri 3 Colomadu (2) incoherence of sentences in the essay description of grade VII students in SMP Negeri 3 Colomadu. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by collecting essays description of class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Colomadu. Data collection techniques use the documentation method with techniques to see and note. The results of the study (1) analysis of the form of logic between the elements in the sentence in the description description of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Colomadu is the logic of the use of conjunctions, the logic of the accuracy of the relationship between one word in other words, the logical relationship clause one with other clauses, logic due to the accuracy of the relationship sentence one with another sentence. (2) Analysis of the form of incoherence in sentences in the description of class VII students in SMP Negeri 3 Colomadu is the use of inappropriate conjunctions, inaccuracies in the relationship between the words one in other words, incoherence in drawing general conclusions.
