Abstract
In this study, the problem studied is how the efforts of Al-Qur'an and Hadis teachers in improving learning motivation in students through PAIKEM strategy and what factors support and inhibit the implementation of PAIKEM strategy in MTsN Ngemplak Boyolali Lesson Year 2017/2018. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of PAIKEM strategy in improving learning motivation to students as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of PAIKEM strategy in MTsN Ngemplak Boyolali. The benefit of this research is to make a positive contribution to the school and educators, namely to maintain what has been good and continue to evaluate for the better. This research is a qualitative research that takes the background in MTsN Ngemplak Boyolali. Methods of data collection used with documentation, observation and interviews. While the data analysis method used by qualitative descriptive analysis technique with deductive way is data collection, data presentation and conclusion. Based on the results of the research after the teacher applied PAIKEM strategy in the learning process seen the students have a high learning motivation, Students look enthusiastic and pay attention to what is being taught the teacher and more easily understand the material. The study of the Qur'an and Hadiṡ by applying the PAIKEM strategy is divided into two, namely learning in the classroom and learning outside the classroom. And there is a supporting fator and inhibit the implementation of PAIKEM strategy. Supporting factors include professional teachers, adequate school facilities and facilities, comfortable and cool school conditions, and readiness and enthusiasm of students and the majority of students are able to read the Qur'an and Hadiṡ well. While the inhibiting factors include the allocation of learning time is perceived less, there are still students who have not been able to read the Qur'an or Hadiṡ well and teachers can not monitor the activities of everyday students during at the home.
