Abstract

This study aims to (1) Describe the form of integrating Life Skills education in the planning, implementation, and assessment of Indonesian language learning Class XI in SMA Al-Firdaus Academic Year 2017/2018. (2) To identify and explain the obstacles that prevent the integration of life skills education in learning Indonesian Class XI in SMA Al-Firdaus academic year 2017/2018. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Data from this research are all Indonesian class XI teachers in SMA Al-Firdaus Surakarta. Secondary data sources are syllabus, RPP, teaching materials, and supporting documentation of learning Indonesian language. The resource persons used in this study were, principals, teacher mapel, and students. Data collection techniques use obserview, interview, and 2 documentation. The technique of data analysis using qualitative is done interactively and run continuously until complete, so the data is saturated. The results of this study are (1) The form of integrating Life Skills education includes (a) planning, ie SK / KD analysis, development of life skill syllabus, preparation of Life Skills RPP, and preparation of life skills teaching materials; (b) , core, and closing are selected and implemented to enable learners to practice targeted life skills values, (c) assessment using classroom analysis as an evaluation of student life skill. (2) The obstacles that prevent the integration of life skills education in the learning of Indonesian Class XI in SMA Al-Firdaus of the academic year 2017/2018 is a means of financial infrastructure and human resources.
