Abstract

Fahmawati Isnita Rahma, Constructivistic learning of aqidah akhlak class X at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 of Surakarta 2015 / 2016, Research paper, Surakarta: Faculty of Islamic religion, Islamic education of tarbiyah, Muhammadiyah university of Surakarta 2018. Learning is not just a process of transferring knowledge, but students are required to explore and build their knowledge by interacting with their environment. Constructivistic learning is one type of independent learning. With constructivistic learning, teaching and learning activities will be more innovative, varied in building knowledge insight so as to increase student activity in teaching and learning activities. The purpose of this study is (1) to find out what methods are used in constructivistic learning of aqidah akhlak class X at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Surakarta 2015/2016. (2) to describe how the application of constructivistic learning methods in aqidah akhlak class X at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Surakarta 2015/2016. This research is a type of field research because this research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Surakarta to collect data relating to the research title. In obtaining data, the writer used interview, observation and documentation methods. After obtaining the data, the writer analyzes the data using a qualitative approach and draws conclusions by deductive thinking. From the research that has been done, the writer found that constructivistic learning methods of aqidah akhlak in MAN 2 Surakarta include jigsaw method, problem based learning, discussion and question and answer where students learn in the form of small groups in order to exchange thoughts and opinions. And in the application of constructivistic learning methods, students are required to be more active in seeking new insights and knowledge by discussing, presenting, and making reports. In addition, the teacher always invites students to interact with the surrounding environment both with teachers, friends or with religious leaders to explore the knowledge they have so that in teaching and learning activities students become more active, creative, and innovative.
